This year's event held on July 1 to July 4, the Prize Giving Ceremony took place on the first day at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center and rewarded the best Asian productions in the following categories: Manga, Anime, Asian Films, Video Games and J-Music.
As manga's role at Angouleme has not grown to match its market share, some folks believe that the Expo is a bigger event for those comics in Europe.
